AVP, Compensation and Benefits (Banking)


Our client in the banking industry is urgently seeking for an AVP, Compensation and Benefits.  The AVP, C&B will manage and work with the C&B team to ensure that the reward strategies and HR policies are in align with the changing business needs. He/she will be involved in other HR processes  which helps to build the whole framework across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, review and implementation of compensation and benefits programs under the Total Compensation Framework.
  • Coordinate, take lead and provide support in various annual C&B exercises, including but not limited to pay review, benefits review, staff cost budgeting, bonus exercise, etc.
  • Ensure internal relativity and external competitiveness of the Bank’s C&B programs by maintaining job evaluation system and market intelligence.
  • Participate in salary and benefits benchmarking, analyze market data and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Support headcount and staff cost management, and conduct staff cost analysis to provide insight in development of HR strategies.
  • Manage other compensation and benefits programs including provident fund scheme, various group employee insurance scheme and benefit review.
  • Provide expertise advice to HR team members and wider internal clients.
  • Update and maintain wider HR policies in line with best practice and the needs of the bank.
  • Support business development of the Group by undertaking various C&B projects.

Requirements

  • At least a Degree holder with related discipline is preferred
  • Strong MS skillsets (excel in particular)
  • Excellent ability to read and write both English and Chinese
  • Strong proven analytical skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
  • Able to lead and work independently without much supervision
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in C&B, financial industry is compulsory
  • Flexible mindset
