Head of Wealth Management


 Responsibilities:

·         Acts as a Responsibility Officer for the Company to carry out SFC Regulated Activities Type #1, #4 and #9, ensuring that the sales operations comply with all applicable regulations and laws

·         Manage, retain and expand a team of experienced Relationship Managers to grow our customer base, AUM and revenue, to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction, and to further improve the morale, productivity and efficiency of the teams

·         Meet regularly with customers, business partners and other counterparties, representing the Company, to build relations, pitch for opportunities and campaign on projects

·         Work closely with the investment managers to help them understand the needs of our customers, select the best financial products and solutions, and review the investment advice we provide to our customers

·         Oversee the development of new services, products and platforms for our high net worth customers, working closely with the back office, compliance and IT departments to ensure a smooth launch and operations

·         Be creative in formulating strategies for the Company on future development directions

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines from an accredited institution; an MBA from a recognized university is a bonus

·         Minimum 10 years of experience in private banking, sales or dealing in financial products, including at least 5 years of working experience at executive level managing sales teams in a prestigious financial institution

·         Must be qualified as a Responsible Officer for SFC Regulated Activities Type #1, #4 and #9

·         Registered CE under PIBC or HKCIB is an advantage

·         Extensive knowledge with the sales and trading of Equities and Fixed Income products in various markets, including HK, China and US

·         Strong analytical sense to grasp the latest market dynamics in wealth and asset management, and execution skills to turn opportunities into revenues

·         Ability to mobilize and influence teams across different functions and organizations to accomplish a common goal

·         Presentable, pleasant personality, great communication and negotiation skills, able to work under stress and tight schedule, good leadership and team player

·         Good command of spoken Putonghua and Cantonese, written Chinese, and fluency in English

·         Willing to travel to PRC on occasion
