Executive Search

For senior and/or specialised positions, Executive Search is the preferred method because it allows us to identify candidates who meet very specific requirements and who may not be contemplating a career change and will, therefore, only respond to a direct approach through our industry knowledge and research capability.  We combine a dedicated, specialist research function with the expertise of our experienced search consultant o provide a first rate executive search recruitment solution.

Combined Executive Search & Advertising

This has become an increasingly popular recruitment approach as it combines the comprehensive Retained Advertised strategy with a targeted approach to key individuals within a specific market sector that are likely to have the skills to benefit the role. As these initiatives occur simultaneously, significant time and cost efficiencies can be achieved, whilst opening up the candidate pool to 'non-active' candidates.

Retained Advertised Assignment

We employ a number of vastly experienced recruiters who are well versed in the Retained Advertised recruitment methodology. A well placed and professionally written advertisement has proven time and again to be an effective strategy in order to successfully fill a wide variety of appointments.

Upon taking a comprehensive brief from our client (including information on requirements such as industry experience, qualifications, key competencies and remuneration details) our consultant will book an advertisement in the relevant print media. After drafting and refining the copy (the client's approval is always sought before placing the advertisement), we handle the assignment through to the presentation of a shortlist.

This will include resume screening, extensive telephone screening, competency based interviewing and the production of a comprehensive individual report on each shortlisted candidate, complete with resume. The shortlist presentation will take the format of a formal face-to-face meeting to discuss the merits (and areas of potential development) of each candidate in conjunction with their "cultural fit".

The consultant will assist with setting interview times for the shortlisted candidates, take comprehensive reference checks and will facilitate the final salary negotiation and appointment of the successful candidate. Our consultants will continue to keep in contact with candidate and client alike to ensure a smooth transition into the role and continued career development within the organisation.

Database Search

Charterhouse has acquired one the industry's leading recruitment database platforms and we have worked closely with the software developer to design a system to our requirements. We continually strive to ensure that the information stored is up to date and relevant. By recording the details of premium candidates only, we can provide the optimum mix of candidates that are currently contemplating a career change.

Our database enables us to quickly advise our clients of candidates' availability and suitability. Having obtained the candidates' permission we can immediately provide you with their background and details.

Executive Contracting & Temporary Services

This is a specialist area of recruitment that assists our clients in finding temporary solutions to recruitment needs or provides resources for fixed term contracts or on-going projects. Working within each of our lines of service, experienced consultants are constantly developing and maintaining our database of candidates from a variety of specialist disciplines, who are available for assignments from one week to one year and beyond.
