AVP, Business Management – Investment Bank

Job description

​Our client is a highly regarded and internationally recognized foreign bank with a strong presence in the global financial industry. They are now actively looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced AVP – Business Management for their Investment Banking division.

Responsibilities

•       Oversee the business and operational financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization

•       Provide project management and oversee the entire lifecycle, ensuring project goals are in alignment with business objectives

•       Coordinate the product development lifecycle by aligning risk assessments and implementation plans with various functions

•       Drive the bank's digital transformation by delivering initiatives like core system enhancements and new platform implementations

•       Ensure compliance with tax, anti-money laundering, and other regulatory requirements for the business

•       Represent Finance on project teams, develop comprehensive financial models and business cases, and present recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements

•       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

•       5+ years of experience in business/financial management roles within the banking/financial services industry

•       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and develop data-driven solutions

•       Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills

•       Proficient in business management, project management and leading change initiatives
