About the Role

Our client, a leading financial market infrastructure organisation at the heart of Asia's capital markets, is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join their Post Trade Platform & Infrastructure team.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of critical post-trade systems supporting the cash equities market, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and service excellence across the ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of technology and service improvement strategies across post-trade platforms
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, assess risks, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Contribute to solution design, validation, and business documentation, including detailed use cases
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and budget
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement through clear and timely communication
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation across systems and processes
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Support initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience within financial services or market infrastructure
  • Proven experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar
  • Strong understanding of post-trade processes, with CCASS knowledge highly preferred
  • Experience working on system enhancements, platform upgrades, or transformation initiatives
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
  • Fluency in Mandarin is essential

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to cash equity markets and clearing/settlement systems
  • Experience working with exchange, clearing houses, or custodians
  • Track record in large-scale transformation or regulatory-driven projects
