Our client:
Due to continued expansion, the world-leading of the major producer in consumer electronics industry of the world has an opening for Electronics Engineering Manager, they are specialists in provide and develop of professional consumer electronics product (Audio) with production services. Recently they are active seeking a potential candidate for support the overall growth, operation, and maintenance of the company's manufacturing operations to achieve the highest levels of effectiveness, quality, service, and profitability for the company.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead and manage electronic engineers assigned to new product development projects.
- Responsible for the quality and approval of the electronic design and manufacturing process for parts as well as product designs developed by the assigned electronic engineer.
- Work with industrial designers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure that client demands are met while maintaining the best product quality and staying under budget.
- Manage product development design issues such as system architecture, schematics, PCB layouts, software, and manufacturability issues. Define specifications for whole products and electronic parts to ensure product quality, production yield, and product reliability.
- Manage product development progress such as product and assembly costs as well as schedule adherence.
- Develop, teach, and guide engineers at various levels to guarantee the electronic design division has the capabilities to meet the company's medium and long-term development needs.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering fields required. At least 12 years of relevant experience required, with 5 years at the managerial level. Experience designing high-quality audio and/or power supply hardware is preferred.
- Experienced in finished consumer electronics goods is a MUST!
- Strong product development management experience Strong grasp of electronic design, design for manufacturing, and problem resolution approaches.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, management, and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in English and Chinese. Ability to cooperate across departments, cope with ambiguity, and accept demanding assignments. Fluency in Putonghua is necessary.
- Based in Hong Kong, with a research and development department in Shenzhen
