Job description
Our client is a leading global private banking group offering a wide range of products and services covering wealth management, asset management and managed investments. It is now seeking to hire an Investment Counselor for its Hong Kong office.

- Open to non-Chinese speaking candidates with local experience
- Around 1.2M base salary per annum plus discretionary bonus
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of ideas and investment strategy recommendations, as well as providing the highest level of advice and execution support to the Bank’s private clients focusing on asset allocation. Products coverage includes Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Funds, etc. Partnering with Private Bankers, he/she will identify client needs and objectives within overall investment objectives and match to service delivery capabilities in order to achieve business revenue and service objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a degree holder, preferably with professional qualifications such as CFA or CPWP (Certified Private Wealth Professional) with at least 8 years of experience in an investment advisory function within a private bank or 10 years of experience in product advisory function cross asset classes. He/she must be highly proficient in spoken and written English, have strong market knowledge and advisory skills, as well as a good understanding of multiple asset classes and related asset allocation processes.
