Job description
My client is a well-established Hong Kong headquartered organization and part of a global conglomerate, this company operates across the Asia-Pacific region with a long-standing market presence. It is recognized for its large-scale operations, strong brand portfolio, and continuous focus on quality, innovation, and customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end application landscape, including Oracle Cloud ERP, D365, B2B/B2C and digital platforms, mobile applications, integration middleware, supply chain systems, field solutions, and internally developed applications-ensuring system stability, scalability, timely issue resolution, and effective change/release management.
- Lead full-cycle project implementations, covering requirements gathering and validation, solution architecture, vendor coordination, system deployment, and ongoing support.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and leverage emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, modernize systems, or phase out outdated applications.
- Oversee IT infrastructure across on-premises, remote data centers, and cloud environments, including networks, data warehousing, pipelines, storage, and endpoint management.
- Ensure strong IT governance by managing cybersecurity, access controls, data protection, and regulatory compliance; assess risks and implement controls, including disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) with regular testing.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, SOPs, cybersecurity frameworks, and operational standards; establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to drive transparency and track performance.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to service level agreements.
- Support leadership in project planning and budget management activities.
Requirements for Success
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant IT experience, with a strong background in managing complex application lifecycles within large organizations-ideally in FMCG or complex trading environments.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and integration middleware.
- Extensive knowledge of eCommerce platforms, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and networking.
- Exposure to AI technologies and their application in business processes is highly advantageous.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with a data-driven and analytical approach; excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and energetic, with strong interpersonal presence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
