Job description
Our client is a leading financial services company which provides comprehensive investment banking, asset management and wealth management services. It is seeking to invite a lawyer to join its Hong Kong office.
- Director/VP Grade
- Excellent salary and compensation package
- Private practice lawyers will also be considered
The Director/VP Legal Counsel will work as a trusted legal advisor to the business team. He/she will be required to provide legal advisory and transaction management services across different asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives, and contribute to the design of new products through working closely with the business team. He/she will also perform legal risk management and control and communicate legal analysis to business stake holders.
The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with at least 4/5 years of post qualification experience gained with an international law firm or with a financial services company. He/she will have experience in derivatives, or treasury products and will be highly proficient in English (written and spoken) and Chinese (spoken and reading).
