We are looking for an experienced Hong Kong-qualified solicitor to join a market‑leading, technology‑driven organization with a strong and established presence in Hong Kong. This role offers an excellent opportunity for lawyers currently in private practice to transition into an in‑house position within a profitable, fast‑growing business that is a clear leader in its sector. Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Corporate Advisory: Provide legal support on company law issues and advise on corporate transactions and day‑to‑day commercial operations.
- Contracts Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a broad range of agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and licensing arrangements.
- Process Improvement: Develop and maintain standardized contract templates to improve efficiency and consistency across the business.
- Strategic Support: Deliver clear, practical legal advice to management and business teams on corporate and commercial matters.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable Hong Kong and international laws and stay abreast of regulatory developments.
- Company Secretarial Matters: Support board and shareholder processes, filings, and related corporate secretarial tasks as required.
Requirements
- Hong Kong-qualified solicitor with at least 7 years' post‑qualification experience.
- Strong experience in general commercial and contractual matters, gained in private practice and/or in‑house.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
