About the Role
Join a leading conglomerate with a diverse property portfolio. You'll drive leasing negotiations, manage acquisitions and disposals, and advise on complex real estate matters. This role offers exposure to high‑value transactions, collaboration with senior management, and the chance to shape the organization's legal framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for acquisitions, disposals, and development projects.
- Advise on commercial leasing matters including landlord-tenant negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
- Collaborate with management and counsel in drafting, negotiating, and executing legal documents.
- Support risk management and compliance frameworks within the organization.
- Ensure adherence to property, zoning, and environmental laws.
- Manage property-related disputes including tenancy issues, construction claims, and enforcement actions.
- Work with stakeholders such as business units, external counsel, and government authorities.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of PQE in real estate and leasing.
- Strong expertise in property transactions and leasing negotiations.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin; fluency in Cantonese is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
