Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a mid-level banking and finance lawyer looking to go in-house. Our client is a renowned financial services firm with around US$20 billion in capital under management. It is now inviting a lawyer to join its highly respected legal team in Hong Kong.

As VP Legal Counsel, the successful candidate will provide legal advice and support in relation to different financial products and services, in particular, loan facilities and securitization. He/she will be responsible for advising on a wide range of transactional, operational and regulatory issues in relation to loan facilities structuring and administration, credit management, borrowing and lending arrangements etc.
The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with around 5 – 10 years of post qualification experience gained in the Banking and Finance team of an international law firm or in the legal department of a financial services company. He/she must have experience in advising on credit facilities as well as knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the financial industry and must have excellent command of both written and spoken English and reading Chinese.
