Job description
Our client is a leading American electronics company with diverse operations around the world. To support their expanding business in Asia, it is now seeking to invite an experienced in-house lawyer to join their regional hub based in Hong Kong.
- Report to the Global Head of Legal
- Centrally located office
- Travel required
The successful candidate will play a crucial and active role in supporting the business operations in Asia with a focus on the Greater China region. He/she will work closely with the business leaders across the region to deliver strategic legal advice and provide them with legal and regulatory guidance. Duties will include advising on the implementation of business best practice, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements, liaising with the sales teams and other internal business function teams across the region in relation to specific deals and to provide support and guidance.
The position will best suit Hong Kong qualified lawyers with some PRC experience with over 5 PQE of combined in-house and private practice experience, preferably with industry experience, and with fluency in both English and Mandarin. PRC qualified lawyers with strong Hong Kong legal experience would also be considered.
