Job description
My client is a leading Asia-based financial services organization providing securities, investment, and capital markets services across multiple global markets. Due to recent success, they are inviting high calibre cyber security specialist to join their business.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.
- Manage and enhance cybersecurity solutions including SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, email security, IAM, and cloud security platforms.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and risk management frameworks.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration testing reviews, and remediation tracking.
- Support regulatory compliance, audits, assessments, and cybersecurity reporting.
- Oversee third-party security reviews, vendor risk assessments, and security due diligence.
- Participate in business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber crisis management initiatives.
- Deliver security awareness programmes and provide cybersecurity guidance to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of experience within financial services or other regulated industries.
- 5-8+ years of dedicated cybersecurity or information security experience.
- Strong experience in security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security, IAM, and network security.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, SIEM solutions, endpoint security, firewalls, and cloud platforms.
- Experience working with senior management, auditors, regulators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent are preferred.
