Job description
About the Role:
- Achieve the designated sales goals and secure new merchant accounts
- Identify potential merchants within the targeted sector and grasp their business operations and pain points
- Present to prospective clients and engage in RFP opportunities when applicable
- Conduct research on the education industry, competitor practices, and trends to enhance the effectiveness and success rate of sales presentations
- Collaborate with the Regional Team to promote our payment products
- Share local market insights and assist the Regional Team in preparing RFP submissions
- Work closely with banking and non-banking partners to generate leads and maximize conversions
- Act as a project manager to implement various initiatives with merchants, such as ECR integration, report customization, eCommerce platform development, etc.
- Possess the necessary product knowledge, business acumen, and project management skills to autonomously close leads
About the Candidate:
- Preferred university degree
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the education sector
- Proven sales track record with deal closures and meeting revenue targets
- Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Putonghua
- Determined, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure
- Excellent sales techniques and interpersonal skills for interactions with internal and external clients
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities
