Job description
About the client:
Our client is seeking a strategic, results-driven Sourcing Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement and supplier management for their OEM and ODM business units. In this role, you will lead the BOM quotation process, drive global cost-saving initiatives, and play a pivotal role in expanding their supply chain footprint across China and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive RFQs for new models and upcoming project pipelines.
- Take full ownership of the BOM cost analysis and quotation process, providing accurate, timely costing data to the Marketing team.
- Continuously evaluate the supplier matrix to consolidate spend, streamline partnerships, and mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities.
- Formally assess supplier technical capabilities, production capacities, and quality control systems to ensure strict alignment with organizational quality and delivery benchmarks.
- Cultivate long-term, strategic partnerships with global suppliers; lead contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms, pricing stability, and risk mitigation.
- Proactively identify margin-improvement opportunities and drive cross-functional cost-reduction initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of global procurement regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8+ years' experience in sourcing electronic components specifically within an OEM/ODM manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of independently managing complex RFQ-to-marketing workflows under tight timelines.
- Expert negotiation skills with a deep understanding of contract management, SLAs, and commercial law.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to analyzing spend, pricing matrixes, and supply trends.
