Our client, a renowned Foreign Corporate Bank, is seeking a VP, Corporate Research (Equity Research, Real Estate Focus) background candidate. (HKD 60k)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare concise industry reports to support the bank's credit management processes

• Knowledge about Real Estate market in China and other East Asia countries. 

• Conduct in-depth research on specificlarge corporate customers or the industries in which they operate, to facilitate better-informed credit decisions

• Collaborate with analysts and assistants to collect industry and company information from various sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Wind, rating agencies, equity research reports), perform

  basic financial analysis, and create visual representations of the data

• Contribute to the bank's internal talent development activities, particularly those related to credit analysis

• Provide general administrative support for the department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Law

• Preferred qualifications: CFA, CPA, or HKAB

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate research or credit analysis, ideally in a financial institution, rating agency, or consulting firm

• Proficient in using Bloomberg and Winddata and research platforms

• Fluent in English and native-level Mandarin

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
