Job description
Responsibilities:
Organize and contribute to the development, implementation and testing of data science and AI solutions for retails operation from customer/ sales analysis to image processing to scheduling optimization with in-house teams or vendors
Understand business needs, collect, and translate user needs into data science and AI models
Look after the deployment of data science model or AI systems to production (on-prem/ cloud)
Work closely with users and in-house IT teams to bring projects to life
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related subject.
5+ years of related working experience. Those with more experience will also be considered for the post of Manager
Solid experience in designing data science models, data analysis and visualization
Knowledge in SQL, python, REST API, machine learning libraries and frameworks is a plus
Good experience in business analysis or project management of related projects is a plus
Good experience in engineering data pipelines, DevOps, ML Ops is a plus
Experience in image processing or optimization is a plus
Experience in Microsoft Azure, Ali Cloud, or other cloud platforms is preferred
