Job description
My client is a well funded fintech company who is looking for a CTO to lead their growing tech team. You will be the tech lead for the organization, who manages the development team, defining the technology roadmap and architecture of the product.
The CTO role will be to supervise and lead the architecture for the product. You will assure successful execution through the definition, development and deployment of the tech. You will guide the technology from its inception, including blockchain strategy. The initial focus will be building a financial service platform product, its inception, including blockchain strategy. The initial focus will be building an Ethereum based product, but this may evolve in time.
Key experience
Development Lead/CTO experience within a tech start-up environment - 2 years +
Start-up experience is essential, you must be comfortable working in small, agile teams where responsibilities are broad. Proven experience of working with distributed/remote teams is key as my client is global.
You will be an ex/current developer, who's comfortable working with a range of modern technologies.
A strong understanding of blockchain technology is absolutely essential. Experience of working within a FinTech environment would be advantageous, but not essential providing you have a proven experience in blockchain.
Tech Experience
Software development background, and you will be expected to recruit and manage a team of developers. You must have proven experience of working on a blockchain platform - my client wants people who have built something, not just dabbled!
