A renowned global financial institution is looking for a Data Governance Manager to join their team. The role will be a regional role with strong business partnering elements. The candidate will be a key part of the ongoing data governance strategy and will proactively drive for successful implementation and compliance. The role would provide an excellent platform for candidates who are looking to further their career in data governance.

Job duties:

• Design and implement data governance policies and best practices

• Formulate roadmap, strategy, and ongoing process checkpoints

• Data governance & control for regional markets

• Compliance checking and review

• Data stewardship and framework control

• Business partner with stakeholders and internal teams

Requirements:

• Degree holder computer science/ data science/ statistics/ related

• At least 5 years of experience in data management, data stewardship, data governance in a regional role

• Knowledgeable in data best practices & government regulatory

• Certificates in data governance/ data privacy would be an advantage

• Experience in using data governance tools

• Exposure to new technologies (data handling tools, cloud infrastructure)

• Project management/ Consultancy experience would be an advantage

• Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin
