As the Director – STEM Hub (Asia) based in Hong Kong SAR, you will operationalise the newly established Hub for RMIT STEM College's strategic initiatives and expansion planning. The incumbent will play a pivotal role for fostering the industry engagement, operational success, partnership strategies, business growth and program development in Asia Pacific region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Embrace sustainable relationships for STEM College's international expansion in the Asia Pacific Region by serving as primary intermediary that connects stakeholders, business partners and industry representatives.
Provide leadership for and management of all operational aspects of the Hub to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Spearhead the project development from STEM College's International Strategy, ensuring successful stakeholder communication, and evaluation of regional and partnership strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
Promote and lead development of programmes through entrusted industry engagement.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis and offer precise recommendation to STEM College regarding policies, student demographics and identify emerging trends and market opportunities.
Drive strategic collaboration with existing partnerships in the Asia Pacific region on program solutions and delivery of partnership service excellence.
Assume responsibility of business development with primary emphasis on priority growth markets to identify potential business opportunities.
Foster an inclusive environment to enhance the staff experience, incorporating best practices and innovative approaches.
QUALIFICATIONS
Postgraduate qualifications with proven track record in tertiary education sector.
Staying abreast of emerging trends in transnational education and research.
Extensive business development experiences in Greater China are highly desirable to this role.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to develop and implement effective plans and initiatives that align with RMIT STEM College’s International Priorities.
Successfully leading and managing change initiatives in a tertiary educational context.
Highly developed interpersonal and multi-lingual communication skills.
Excellent problem solving and negotiation capabilities to advocate for STEM College’s interests and collaborate on initiatives.
