Job description
Client:
Our client is a market leader in the industrial manufacturing sector with globally established operations. Currently, they are seeking for an experienced and commercially driven Finance Director who can spearhead the finance function.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the full scope of financial operation including both operational accounting, reporting, analysis, statutory audit and regulatory controls
Manage the financial planning process for global business and subsidiaries including all budgeting and forecasting
Collaborate with corporate finance and business partners as well as maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
Work closely with management team on new company strategic initiatives
Collaborate with business units and strategy teams to identify potential M&A
Identify internal control deficiencies and provide sound recommendation to improve operational excellence
Perform risk assessment on overall group's operation as well as implementing risk control policies and procedures
Overseeing all tax related requirements for the corporate entities and liaise with tax advisers
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in finance or Accounting
Qualified Accountant with combination of external audit and in-house accounting experiences will be a plus
A minimum of 20 years' accounting and finance experience
Sound knowledge on accounting standards & taxation regulations
Solid manufacturing background gained in sizable listed companies
Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive with strong business acumen
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels and inter-department
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
