Finance Director (Retail/FMCG)

Job description

​Our client is one of the market leading multinational retail companies, with their continuous expansion, they are now seeking for a Finance Director to look for their sizable finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly closing

• Work closely with regional finance teams for group financial and management aspects

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting pack

• Overview the treasury activities, cash flow forecast and maintain bank relationship

• Manage regular tax reporting, tax queries and liaise with tax advisors

• Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit engagement

• Carry out ad-hoc audit assignments as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline with qualification in professional accounting body

• Minimum of 10- 15 years’ relevant experience, of which proven experience in Retail/FMCG companies. Audit experiences will be a plus

• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese

• Strong organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Independent, proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, able to meet tight timeline in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
