General Manager, Professional Services

Job description

Our client is a leading provider of professional services in the region. Established 50 years ago, they are the partner of choice by the majority of Fortune 500 companies and other publicly listed companies. Their service offerings include accounting, corporate secretarial, shared registry, payroll and tax administration. Due to their continuous expansion in Hong Kong, they are currently looking for an experienced Manager to lead a team of Corporate Secretaries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of multiple business units with existing functional managers and executives
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and achieve desirable productivity and profitability
• Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports
• Responsible for brand building and corporate image by collaborating with clients, gatekeepers, vendors, organizations and employees while enforcing ethical business practices
• Re-evaluate current processes to increase effectiveness
• Communicate strategy and results to the business units
• Any other related ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Management or related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years in a senior management position managing multiple teams
• Experience in professional services, audit firms, banks or accounting firms is an added advantage
• Knowledge of brand building, strategic thinking and decision making ability
• Proven leadership skills and employee engagement
• Ability to speak to people at all levels, transparent and approachable
• Outstanding command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Positive disposition and with excellent interpersonal skills
