Join the Group Technology Team as they embark an exciting digital transformation to make the digital cloud platform of the future. They are running a large tech transformation involving major cloud projects. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee digital workplace, infrastructure, and cloud operations teams and service providers. This includes running the desktop computing environment, managing the equipment and software used by all employees, and ensuring service excellence.
Your team provides infrastructure expertise for traditional systems and for new cloud capabilities implemented by our transformation project. You will provide technical leadership for support specialists, analysts, and engineers for both business-as-usual and project activities.
A key accountability is ensuring our infrastructure capabilities evolve to support the cloud environment delivered by our Microsoft transformation project. Your success in the role will result in strong operational processes, a well-designed workforce, and project prioritisation that underpins key business requirements. 15+ years’ experience in infrastructure roles with at least 5 years in senior management roles.
Your career will have evolved from technical hands-on infrastructure work, moving to broader management and leadership roles over time.
You’ve managed large teams of engineers and external service providers in complex hybrid outsource environments.
Proven experience migrating systems to the cloud, managing cloud infrastructure, controlling costs, and securing vendor platforms.
Technical experience around server, network, storage, database, and workplace services – SCCM/Intune, packaging & deployment, Citrix, remote desktop support, ITIL, exec support and service desk.
Experience in provision of comprehensive guidance on the design of solution components to ensure that they take account relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards, practices, and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible.
Experience in leading technology teams that deliver consistent, timely and high-quality initiatives, with a natural sense of urgency to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Cloud Services, Operations and Management
In depth knowledge and experience working with the cloud services domain, with expertise in designing and deploying cloud storage solutions, advanced knowledge of EKS, and knowledgeable in RDS and database deployments.
7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, system administration, network (Advanced understanding of concepts and technologies) and cloud security.
Cloud Technical Knowledge
In depth knowledge and experience working within the cloud services domain, with expertise in designing and deploying cloud solutions.
Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems.
Broad-based IT Infrastructure knowledge and experience in at least one technical domain (IaaS/PaaS, networking, server/storage, databases, Citrix, etc).
IT Infrastructure & Environment Management
Knowledge and expertise in the operation and control of IT infrastructure (comprising physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage) either on-premises or provisioned as cloud services.
10+ years’ work experience managing and administering enterprise grade infrastructure in a predominantly Microsoft, Citrix, and DELL environment.
Knowledge in technical skills such as in Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Citrix, VPN and RDS.
