IT Director - Fintech MNC (Team leading role)

Job description

Our client is a leading Fintech company looking to expanding the team here in HK. The IT Director will be the forefront of the IT team and is responsible for leading a high performing team of IT professionals, consisting of various sub-teams.

The role

• Plan & strategize IT direction for the group

• Lead a team of IT professionals in performing daily systems support, application development, IT service delivery

• Drive changes and digitalization across various IT domains

• Review existing systems & architecture with a goal to identify areas for enhancement

• Enhance information security framework & incident management investigations

• Manage IT Risk, DR planning & ensure business processes align with established governance

• Ensure effective use of resources (Data centers, Cloud, Servers)

• Identify & introduce best practices for IT department (CI/CD, SDLC, SLA)

• Manage internal stakeholders & external vendors

The right candidate:

• Bachelor's degree holder in a related field

• At least 10 years of experience in an IT leadership role in IT Operations/ Development

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure frameworks, security, software development, production support

• Familiar with IT methodologies and workflows

• Proven track record of completing digitalization projects in a sizeable organization

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to multi-faceted problems

• Proficient in English, Chinese
