My client is one of the top electronic manufacturing business in Asia. Due to recent success, they are looking for a Senior IT Manager to join their IT team
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's overall IT strategy and operations across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Thailand, ensuring technology effectively supports sales, manufacturing, logistics, and business functions.
- Define and execute IT roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives, focusing on scalability, security, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization, process automation, and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Oversee the in-house software development team, ensuring high-quality delivery of systems that support production, supply chain, and business operations.
- Establish and govern system architecture, development standards, and agile best practices to ensure performance, security, and compliance.
- Lead the IT infrastructure team to maintain stable and secure networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user services across multiple regions.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity frameworks, disaster recovery planning, and regulatory compliance in different jurisdictions.
- Partner closely with regional business stakeholders to understand local requirements while standardizing systems and processes where possible.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top IT talent to strengthen long-term technology capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or complex operational environments.
- Strong technical background in software development in early stage of career.
- Proven experience managing both software development and IT infrastructure teams.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience delivering digital transformation, automation, or manufacturing IT solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Fluency in English & Mandarin is required.
