Job description
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver technology projects supporting private equity operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Analyze and document business requirements for system enhancements and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across investment, operations, and technology teams to define and validate solutions.
- Manage external vendors providing application support, ensuring service quality and performance.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and execution, tracking milestones and managing risks.
- Support data-related initiatives including data quality, integration, and governance in partnership with the data operations team.
- Provide user support for private equity applications, including troubleshooting and training.
- Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to support business insights and decision-making.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation including user guides, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of private equity technology platforms and processes.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12-15+ years of experience in business analysis or application support, with at least 5 years in private equity or financial services.
- Strong understanding of private equity investment processes, including deal origination, due diligence, and portfolio management.
- Proven experience managing technology projects using Agile or SDLC methodologies.
- Hands-on experience gathering and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Proficiency in PowerBI for dashboard/report development and data visualization.
- Basic SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking, with attention to detail.
- Experience with private equity platforms (e.g., Investran, eFront) and certifications like PMP, CBAP, or ITIL are a plus.
