Job description
Our client is a highly respected and long-standing bank known for its unwavering commitment to excellence and customer-centric values. As they continue to expand their business operations, they are seeking a skilled professional to join their Operations team, specifically focusing on KYC and other related operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Client Onboarding team, and other stakeholders to facilitate the account opening process, including reviewing account opening documentation, FATCA, and CRS compliance.
Set up, maintain, and update customer profiles and information in the systems.
Efficiently upload, organize, and archive records and documents.
Manage and coordinate the daily workload of the team to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
Participate in User Acceptance Tests to validate system functionality.
Provide prompt and effective responses to internal and external customer inquiries.
Conduct call-backs with customers to verify the authenticity of client instructions.
Manage regulatory annual reviews and drills, such as those conducted by HKMA, HKAB, DPB, IRD, and others.
Prepare accurate and timely daily MIS and monthly KPI reports to track performance.
Provide backup support for teller counter services, including cash and cheque processing, Fixed Deposit, and fund transfers.
Support the head of the department in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance customer service efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
University graduate with a strong background in retail branch operations, including Account Opening, Client onboarding & Data Maintenance, Cash, Clearing, and Deposit functions.
Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to the banking industry is an advantage.
Highly self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.
Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
