Job description
Our client, a well-established financial services firm with a strong track record in investment services, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including trade transactions and investment activities.
Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare regulatory filings, including those required by the SFC, in accordance with established guidelines.
Support the preparation of management reports on revenue, expenses, and financial performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of audits.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in accounting workflows.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles within an SFC licensed corporation.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
