Job description
An asset management/funds lawyer is sought by this leading financial services company. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will primarily cover private funds and SFC authorized funds but will also have exposure to other parts of the investment management business.

As Senior Counsel/Counsel, the successful candidate will provide legal advice and support in relation to the establishment, structuring and re-structuring, due diligence and management of different types of funds. He/she will also review and advise on transaction documents and fund documents, as well as advise on other legal and regulatory issues.
The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer (lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions with relevant legal practicing experience in Hong Kong would also be considered) with at least 5 years of relevant post qualification experience with knowledge and experience of private funds and SFC authorized funds. Fluency in English and Chinese, including Mandarin is required for this position.
