Our client is a large, profitable company that is highly regarded for its emphasis on corporate social responsibility and community building. It is now seeking to invite a lawyer with employment law experience to join its award winning in-house legal team.
The successful candidate will work as a Lead Employment Counsel and will be responsible for advising on a broad range of employment-related matters including benefits and rewards, retirement schemes, work injury cases and discrimination, as well as providing advice on legal issues arising from business operations, contracts and other legal documents, internal processes and guidelines etc.
The ideal candidate will be a HK/UK/US/Australia qualified lawyer with more than 10 years of post-qualification combined in-house and law firm experience specialising in employment law. While admission in Hong Kong is not mandatory, Hong Kong legal practice experience is required. The position requires high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
