Our client is a large and well-established FinTech company. It is one of the most well-known brands among Hong Kong's FinTech pioneers. The company is now inviting a lawyer to join their legal team based in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the General Counsel and working alongside a small team of lawyers, the successful candidate will assist with covering broad ranging corporate and commercial, as well as regulatory matters in both local and overseas/cross-border context. This will involve drafting and negotiating contracts and providing advice to support company policies, structure and new business initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally combined TMT, general commercial and regulatory experience, gained in a law firm and/or an in-house legal department. The role will best suit TMT lawyers looking to expand their expertise to a broader range of commercial matters. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is required for this position.
