About the Role
As Associate Director, Legal, you will partner closely with the General Counsel on a wide spectrum of legal and business matters, with an emphasis on residential development and sales. You will advise project teams on sales documentation, conveyancing issues, compliance obligations, and project-related execution. The position offers exceptional exposure, independence, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to senior‑level decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support across property development initiatives, especially residential sales and associated documentation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and relevant government authorities as required.
- Support corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Engage directly with senior leadership on strategic legal and commercial matters.
- Enhance internal legal processes and contribute to building a scalable, future‑ready legal function.
Requirements
- Hong Kong-qualified lawyer preferred; alternatively, candidates with 6+ years of solid Hong Kong legal experience in the property sector will be considered.
- Strong foundation in property law with hands‑on experience in residential property sales.
- Excellent command of Chinese and English, with strong drafting ability in both languages.
- Commercially astute, solutions‑oriented, and confident working with senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, agile, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment.
