Job description

Our client, a renowned foreign commercial bank, is currently seeking a RM - Senior Relationship Manager (RM) for their Commercial Banking division.


  • Enhancing and expanding existing client relationships while also acquiring new clients.

  • Promoting a range of banking products, including deposits (especially CASA), CAPEX loans, trade/working capital finance, factoring, supply chain financing, equipment finance, DCM, and treasury products such as leverage forward, CCS/IRS, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.

  • Driving enterprise banking business growth by increasing the number of accounts, loan and deposit balances (particularly CASA), and promoting fee-based products.

  • Taking responsibility for day-to-day client communications to gain insights into their evolving banking needs and credit standing.

  • Structuring banking facilities and preparing credit proposals for clients.

  • Conducting timely annual reviews of credit facilities.

  • Strengthening collaboration with teams in China and facilitating cross-referrals between Hong Kong and China.

  • Working cohesively within teams and fostering harmonious relationships with other counterparties.


  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • 6-12 years of experience in client coverage within the commercial banking sector, with a focus on mid-caps and large SMEs, demonstrating an excellent sales track record in both Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta Region.

  • Mandatory licensing requirements include HKMA Type 1 & 4, with HKFI being preferable.

  • Strong credit and business knowledge in the commercial banking space, along with a deep understanding of relevant clients and industries.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both spoken and written.

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.

  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with peers to achieve common objectives.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-oriented.
