About the Role
As Senior Legal Counsel, you'll be a key member of a dynamic legal team responsible for managing a wide range of litigation, regulatory, and investigative matters. You'll tackle complex legal challenges, influence internal decision-making, and help craft responses to issues that impact both the business and the broader financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks across dispute and operational-related areas
- Lead litigation and dispute resolution efforts, including managing external counsel and preparing for hearings
- Evaluate legal risk and evidentiary strength in active and potential cases
- Provide legal input on policy development and operational initiatives
- Support internal investigations and advise on governance and ethical considerations
- Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to team leadership
What We're Looking For
- Hong Kong-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience in litigation and financial regulatory matters
- Strong academic background from a recognized institution
- Solid foundation of legal training and experience gained at a reputable international law firm
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in reading Chinese legal documents
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues and deliver clear, actionable advice
- Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills
