Job Description
- Provide FCC/AML advisory to business stakeholders in their daily operations (e.g. Client On-boarding, AML Risk Assessment, AML Documentation and Waiver, etc.)
- Handle and advise business stakeholders on FCC/AML related enquiries, surveys, offsite reviews, onsite examinations and investigations from regulators and/or industry associations
- Provide timely FCC/AML related regulatory updates to management and business stakeholders
- Issue compliance alerts as and when necessary
- Effectively promote and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders
- Establish effective Financial Crime Prevention (incld. AML) policies and procedures to manage the financial crime risks (incld. Money-laundering risk)
- Establish effective mechanism to track the progress of business and support units in complying with FCC/AML regulatory requirements and/or recommendations of regulators/auditors
- Interpret new regulations and policies, evaluate existing AML procedures, develop new procedures and controls, implement and test the bank's AML procedures and policies when required
- Deliver FCC/AML training to business stakeholders
- Take up ad-hoc projects as assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree holder in preferably Law, Business or relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant FCC/AML experience in Banking and Finance across corporate banking, global markets, private wealth, and transaction banking
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
- Associate AML Professional (AAMLP) Certification by HKIB (preferable)
- Familiar with local regulatory regulations
- Excellent leadership and people management qualities
- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
