Job description
My client is seeking for Senior QS to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee subcontractor agreements and ensure all site-related contractual arrangements are properly documented.
Support procurement by reviewing tenders, analyzing submissions, and providing recommendations based on technical and commercial considerations.
Participate in subcontractor meetings, interviews, and negotiations to secure reliable partners for project delivery.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain a pool of competent subcontractors; update and strengthen the database for future projects.
Carry out day-to-day QS duties on-site, including measurement, cost tracking, budget monitoring, and contract administration.
Provide timely reports on project progress, variations, and financial status to management.
Work closely with site engineers and project managers to align cost control with construction activities.
Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience
Professional membership (e.g., HKIS, RICS) is advantageous.
Experience in sizable projects from main contractor is preferred
