Job description
Our client is a multinational conglomerate and a recognized world leader in the field of integrated bioscience. The company operates at the critical intersection of research, innovation, and commercialization, leveraging advanced biotechnology to address some of the world's most pressing challenges in health, sustainability, and agriculture.
Due to continued expansion, they're currently having an opening for a Supply Chain Manager to support overseeing the warehouse and production line, and you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our client's local end-to-end supply operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about process excellence in a fast-paced consumer-facing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete operational flow for our Hong Kong entity, including the management of a dedicated third-party packing partner and a local distribution center handling finished goods.
- Design, implement, and enforce robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guarantee seamless, efficient, and safe daily operations. Ensure unwavering adherence to the highest Health & Safety & Environmental, and all relevant regulatory compliance standards.
- Take full ownership of the demand and supply planning cycle. Develop and execute strategic inventory management initiatives to maximize service levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce obsolescence and excess inventory.
- Develop a suite of KPIs and performance metrics to continuously monitor and improve critical areas such as order fulfilment rates, logistics cost efficiency, forecast accuracy, lead times, and warehouse capacity utilization.
- Act as the key operations lead for new product introductions and other strategic projects. Ensure full operational readiness to meet all launch timelines and market demands.
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships with international manufacturing facilities and cross-functional local teams (Sales, Marketing) to align operational strategy with overarching business objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related.
- A minimum of 8 years of supply chain and co-packing experience, with at least 5 of those years spent in managerial positions.
- Knowledgeable with Health, Safety, Environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with ERP and software, such as MS, APO, and SAP modules.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, both in writing and speaking.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Strong communication and people management abilities.
- Proactive and dedicated personality.
