This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers who are seeking to expand their general banking and finance law skill set to a further specialised area - corporate banking. Our client is a leading global banking group that provides financial services across the globe. It is now seeking to hire an additional lawyer for its Hong Kong office.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Legal and will be expected to take on various responsibilities including providing legal advice and support across different businesses areas, participating in enterprise-wide projects, reviewing and developing internal policies and procedures, as well as reviewing legal documents.
The ideal candidate will be a Commonwealth qualified lawyer (Hong Kong qualified lawyer highly preferred) and have more than 5 years of PQE gained in the banking and finance team of an international law firm or in the legal department of a global bank. English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) fluency is required for this position.
