Job description
Our client is a highly regarded and internationally recognized foreign financial services with a strong presence in the global financial industry. They are now actively looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced VP for their Regional Financial Controllership role.
Responsibilities
Consolidate and analyze financial statements for the regional business, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Develop comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
Monitor and analyze financial performance across the regions, identifying trends and providing actionable insights
Coordinate closely with headquarters on strategic projects and initiatives, serving as a key liaison
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the regional finance function
Provide financial guidance and support to business stakeholders, partnering with them to drive growth and profitability
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a regional finance role, preferably within the insurance/financial services industry
Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Proven track record of leading finance teams and driving process improvements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Knowledge in IFRS, particularly IFRS 17, and a deep understanding of financial accounting principles
Experience working in a multi-cultural, matrix environment and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic business setting
Ability to provide strategic and analytical insights to support business decision-making
