Assistant Finance Manager – Family Office

Job description

​Our client, a family office and investment firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee one of their business operations and corporate accounting functions. This role involves handling accounting operations for an overseas business, performing financial accounting and management reporting, portfolio management and KYC.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the accounting operations for one of our overseas businesses.

• Prepare financial accounting statements, management reports, tax planning strategies, and cash flow forecasts.

• Conduct portfolio management activities, including reviewing investments, performing KYC, and ensuring compliance.

• Review legal documents and collaborate with legal counsel to facilitate smooth business operations.

• Support treasury functions such as cash flow management to optimize financial performance.

• Perform accounts and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a family office or investment firm.

• Excellent proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese languages.

• Experience in portfolio management, KYC, and legal document review.

• Proficiency in financial accounting, management reporting, tax planning, and cash flow forecasting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
