Our client, a Global Bank is seeking for an experienced Senior IT Auditor to join their dynamic team here in HK. The right candidate will be responsible for driving Technology Audit across the Bank's regional domains. The role will be an excellent next step for a well-versed IT Audit candidate who is looking to continue their path in an in-house role.


The job:

• DeliverIT Audit for APAC group technology
• Conduct comprehensive IT audits across various departments, focusing on systems, applications, and processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.
• Navigate audit with emerging technologies such as AI/ Data/ Automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Analyze IT systems and processes for potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR, SOX).
• Participate in the development of the annual audit plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  
  

The candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on financial services.
• Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, control evaluation, and audit execution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in audit software and tools.
