About the Client:

Due to continued expansion, the world-leading major producer in Appliances, Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing industry of the world has an opening for Chief Operating Officer (COO), they are specialists in providing and developing electro-mechanical and electronic components with production services.

Recently they are actively seeking a potential candidate to support the day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and logistics, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with global standards.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:


Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's manufacturing component to ensure high-quality business operations with optimal efficiency, service, and profitability for the company. You will also be making sure the team is aware of how the organization's accomplishments and success are mirrored in all of its activities and operations, including relationships and risk management.

  • Retain overall organizational responsibility for adhering to all professional requirements, duties, responsibilities, and obligations connected to manufacturing laws and statutes, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Best Practice Guidelines, and ISO certification.
  • Achieve your goals as well as those of the entire team, such as aid in the team's development and training, etc.
  • Support the Line Manager in reaching the highest level of customer satisfaction in line with organizational strategies.
  • Oversee, direct, and keep an eye on the manufacturing organization's entire performance.
  • Uphold and enhance systems for manufacturing and all organizational activities, including monitoring and evaluating the operations, procedures, results, and profitability of manufacturing and providing feedback to the relevant internal entities.
  • According to agreed-upon criteria, recruit team members, train them, set goals, monitor their performance, coach them, and provide general assistance as needed to meet those goals.
  • Creating plans for the development and expansion of the organization.
  • Employ established methods to control the organization's operations, research, and
  • documentation.
  • Provide team members with an example of commitment, knowledge of the production process, work ethics and habits, and personal character.
  • Manage a high performing team that produces continuous improvement, additional value, and cost savings while providing leadership to the departments you have under charge. You should also coach, mentor, and develop your direct subordinates.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related subject is desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years in senior management with Lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0 manufacturing, six sigma, and good knowledge and comprehension of ISO9000/14000 are preferred.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership abilities, as well as the ability to get hands-on when needed without becoming engrossed in the day-to-day.
  • Capable of translating a vision into a well-defined plan, aim, and objectives.
  • Station / regularly working in oversea factory is required.
