Job description

Our client is a prominent electronics manufacturing company looking to expand their team in Hong Kong. The Senior IT Manager will play a critical role at the forefront of the IT team, leading a high-performing group of IT professionals across various sub-teams.

The Role:
  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee a team responsible for daily systems support, application development, and IT service delivery.
  • Spearhead initiatives for digitalization across multiple IT domains within the organization.
  • Evaluate existing systems and architectures to identify areas for enhancement and modernization.
  • Strengthen the information security framework and manage incident investigations effectively.
  • Ensure business processes comply with governance standards while managing IT risk and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of data centers, cloud services, and servers.
  • Identify and implement best practices in IT operations, including CI/CD, SDLC, and SLA management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure cohesive IT operations.
The Right Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in an IT leadership role, with a focus on IT operations and software development.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure frameworks, security protocols, software development, and production support.
  • Familiarity with IT methodologies and workflows, particularly in the context of manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing digitalization projects within sizable organizations.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a knack for developing solutions to complex, multifaceted challenges.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis
