Job description
Responsibilities
Act as a technology partner to execute digital/Cloud transformation roadmap and initiatives to enhance effectiveness in anticipation of business needs.
Lead a team and collaborate with other functional specialists, enterprise architects and technical teams to carry out application development and service delivery to optimise railway construction capabilities while ensuring good quality, on-programme, and on-budget deliverables.
Engage key stakeholders at different levels to address users’ concerns, align system solutions with business needs and drive technology innovations with the use of new technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM), Common Data Environment (CDE), Autodesk Construction Cloud
Conduct research and collate market intelligence for service capabilities and industry trends and make recommendations for business applications.
Manage resources planning including training and talent development as well as fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or a related discipline
A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, preferably gained in engineering / construction industry, of which 7 years should be at managerial level.
Proven experience in BIM/ CDE, Digital Works Supervision Systems (DWSS), Construction Data Analytics and other cloud-based solutions
Commercial acumen with knowledge of employment related ordinances, business intelligence software and digital technology
Knowledge of cloud applications and new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Big Data Analytics is an advantage.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills with abilities to manage stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
Strong presentation, analytical and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
