Job description
We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced lawyer to join a prestigious, long-established conglomerate in Hong Kong as an Associate General Counsel.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the legal department and at the senior management level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to address their legal support needs.
- Overseeing general corporate legal matters, including commercial agreements, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, intellectual property, litigation, employment, and finance.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to prevent and identify legal risks.
- Managing and coordinating with international external counsel.
Ideal Candidate:
- Legally qualified in Hong Kong.
- At least 12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in both in-house and private practice settings.
- Strong in-house legal experience.
- Excellent credentials.
