Role Overview: The successful candidate will oversee legal matters for specific business lines, including Distribution Channels, and serve as a subject matter expert on insurance law and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive and timely legal advice
- Managing legal risks in business initiatives and special projects
- Handling litigation and regulatory inquiries
- Managing external counsels
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong
- At least 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in the insurance, banking, securities, or financial services industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
