Job description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Operations to join our client, an internationally recognized bank with a strong presence in the financial industry. As the Deputy Head of Operations for our client’s retail banking division, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and driving effective business processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic operational plans and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of retail banking operations.
Oversee and supervise day-to-day business operations, including customer service, risk management, compliance, and business development.
Foster a culture of seamless internal communication and collaboration across departments to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
Ensure strict adherence to legal requirements, regulations, and internal policies, while effectively managing business risks and compliance.
Monitor operational data, prepare reports, and propose improvement strategies.
Requirements
10-15 years of operations experience within the banking or financial institutions sector, with at least 3 years in senior management roles.
In-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in retail banking operations and financial markets.
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, with a strong emphasis on risk control and compliance.
