This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Legal role at a leading, large corporation. The successful candidate will work as a business partner and strategic advisor to the senior management and be responsible for leading the legal teams in Hong Kong and China.
The Head of Legal will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality legal advice and services throughout Hong Kong and China which includes providing legal support to all aspects of corporate and commercial matters such as commercial contracts drafting and negotiation, general legal advisory and company policy management, assisting with litigation and disputes cases, handling IP matters and conducting legislation and regulatory analysis.
The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with at least 15 PQE of combined in-house and private practice post qualification experience with experience in leading a team of lawyers within a corporation (excluding financial services) which has regional operations.Experience in supporting businesses in the PRC is a must.Some prior IPO experience would be ideal. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required.
